Joe has over 21 years of experience in operational Security Management, specializing in security operations, investigations, risk & threat management, crisis & event management (EAP), life safety, nightlife security, surveillance (CCTV), policy & procedure development, and executive protection.
Joe has earned board certifications in security management through ASIS International (CPP), Cybersecurity through (ISC)2, and Workplace Violence & Threat Specialist (WVTS). Joe is also a Certified Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) Practitioner through the Florida Office of the Attorney General, and holds a NJ Private Detective business license and a gaming Key license.
Joe is experienced working in various aspects of security management and investigations and has opened and operated two 1+ billion-dollar properties in Las Vegas and Atlantic City. Joe has developed and maintained security operations, life safety operations, and life safety for MGM Resorts International.
Joe conducted and provided mitigation strategies for physical protection systems for various operations and businesses as a consultant and project manager. Joe has authored and delivered training to security team members and key stakeholders on various security awareness topics. Joe has performed numerous assessments on threats, vulnerabilities, and risks for various public, private, and religious organizations and institutions with the goal of improving operational readiness and establishing preventive mitigation strategies.
